Prepare for an exciting weekend of cosplay contests at YetiCon 2026! This year’s masquerade style competition has a category for everyone, whether you’re brand new to cosplaying, or were born holding a sword. Our cosplay contests are designed to be inclusive and fun. Skits are encouraged, and you can compete solo or as a group, too!
YetiCon’s cosplay contests are designed to be fun for all. They’re not serious-style contests – participants will not be judged on craftsmanship, nor will they require prejudging or build books.
This spotlight event is a fun way for cosplayers 18+ of all skill levels to compete. Judges will be assessing effort, enthusiasm, stage presence, and creativity. Skits are encouraged, but not necessary.
Various awards will be presented through this runway style contest – more details to come!
Note: This is a casual, non-craftmanship competition. You do not have to meet any threshold for skill or ability, nor are you required to present a build book. There will be no pre-judging. This is a runway style stage competition.
Day: Saturday
The youth competition is specifically designed for persons 17 years of age or younger. It is a fun, supportive showcase designed to give younger and less practiced cosplayers an opportunity to shine on stage, while gaining valuable competition experience. We aim to encourage youth cosplayers to learn and grow at their own pace. Cosplays can be based on any fandom, including original creations!
Judges will be assessing enthusiasm, stage presence, and creativity.
Prizes will be announced closer to the event date – so stay tuned!
