Sketchlemania’s live art battles bring the fun to art competitions!
Sketchlemania is a charity art duel program founded in 2019 by Martin Duncan, owner/operator of Slampress Tomes. The show is planned, organized, and moderated by Martin (aka Martin “Slam” Duncan) with an ever-present thread of wrestling culture woven into his moderation style. The format of the show typically includes 3 to 4 artists answering viewer questions and creating art pieces aligned with a predetermined theme. Live viewer interaction is greatly encouraged.
Over the years, Martin has forged strong relationships with creators in the comic book and genre illustration field, and his show has expanded from a solely livestream program to including live appearances at comicons across the country.
The art pieces created during the event are then auctioned off with the proceeds going to various charities. To date, Sketchlemania has raised over $27,000.00 for charitable causes.
